Our Bóthar Donation
Two representatives from the charity ‘Bóthar’ came to visit our school on Wednesday February 21st. Mags and Aisling gave a wonderful presentation to all the children on the work of Bóthar and how many families are helped by being given live animals from Ireland. The two ladies answered many interesting questions posed by the pupils of St. James’. We presented the ladies with a cheque for €1,800 – the proceeds of a number of fundraisers over the past year. We are delighted that this money will be used to send an in-calf heifer to an African family. Well done to our pupils and staff!
