BoPeep Valais Blacknose Flock Visit

On February 7th, 3rd class were invited to Michael Power’s farm in Cappagh to see some of his rare breed sheep - Valais Blacknose.

The RTE News Today production team were also present on the day and the children had great fun in front of the camera. Later in the day, the footage was broadcast on the News Today programme on RTE 2. This created great excitement in the school community. Children and adults alike had a most wonderful day and we were treated so well by Michael, Alymer and April on the farm. Míle buíochas daoibh go léir!
