Ecology Trip

Fourth and Fifth Class went on an ecology trip to Askeaton, where past pupil Michael O'Connor and Michelle Horrigan showed the children the different animals that use the river as a food source and habitat. They also showed the smaller bugs and insects that are used to determine if the river is clean or not. The children had the opportunity to look at the water samples through microscopes and did a walk around the river. Thanks to Michael and Michelle for a fun and educational trip.
